Team news: Brian O'Driscoll has been ruled out of tomorrow evening's Heineken European Cup match with Edinburgh after picking up a knock in training during the week.

The Ireland captain will be replaced by Kieran Lewis in the Leinster midfield as Michael Cheika's side seek to strengthen their position at the top of Pool Two and gain a measure of revenge over a side that beat them at Murrayfield last October.

While the nature of O'Driscoll's injury is not clear it is not expected to keep him out of next week's trip to Kingsholm for a potential winner takes all clash with Gloucester

Rob Kearney will continue to deputise for the injured Girvan Dempsey at full-back while Shane Horgan returns to the right wing in the only other change from last weekend's Celtic League victory over the Ospreys.

Saturday's game is a sell out and cash will not be taken at the turnstiles.

Elsewhere, Jerry Flanney must settle for  place on the bench when Munster take on Bourgoin on Sunday. The Ireland international has not featured this season after suffering shoulder and hamstring injuries but is deemed fit enough to win a place in the match 22.

In Flannery's absence from the starting line-up, Frankie Sheahan will win his 50th European cap. Sheahan made his European debut in September 1997 and has scored eight tries in the competition.

He missed almost all of last season after suffering a neck injury in the opening Heineken Cup game against Sale Sharks but returned to the Munster side this year and has started in 12 of Munster 16 games to date.

A question mark remains over Denis Leamy's fitness meaning Declan Kidney has yet to finalise his back row selection while Trevor Halstead's injury allows Lifeimi Mafi to partner Barry Murphy in the centre.
