Munster to open Heineken Cup quarter-final weekend

Munster will kick-off the Heineken Cup quarter-finals weekend when they play host to Toulouse at Thomond Park on Saturday April 5th at 1.30pm.

The game starts a triple header of action on the Saturday that ends with Ulster’s clash with Saracens at Ravenhill, which gets underway at 6.30pm.

The mid-afternoon slot will be taken up by the clash between Clermont Auvergne and Leicester, with the game getting underway at 5.0pm local time at the Stade Marcel-Michelin.

Leinster supporters look set for at least a one-night stay in the south of France as their quarter-final against defending champion Toulon has been scheduled for a 5.30pm kick-off on Sunday April 5th at the Stade Félix Mayol.

Ulster have announced that tickets for the game with Saracens will go on sale online to current season ticket holders from 9.0am on Monday February 17th.

Meanwhile, Leinster ‘A’ have been drawn at home to Munster ‘A’ in the quarter-finals of the British & Irish Cup , which will also be held over the first weekend in April.

The winner of the game faces an away semi-final against the winners of the game between Cornish Pirates and Pontypridd.
