Munster will wait until Wednesday to make a proper assessment on the injuries to Paul O'Connell and Ronan O'Gara ahead of the Heineken European Cup semi-final meeting with Saracens.

O'Connell was a late withdrawal from the side that beat Ospreys in Musgrave Park on Saturday, but the groin injury is not thought to be too serious and rest was seen as the best remedy.

The knee injury sustained by O'Gara against Leinster 10 days ago is also not a major concern for Declan Kidney and the coach expects to have both players to train this week and be available for the trip to the Ricoh Arena.

There was also a clean bill of health given to rest of the squad that took part in the 9-8 Magners Celtic League win over Ospreys.

Meanwhile, Saracens captain Neil de Kock has backed his side to bounce back from their 40-29 hammering at the hands of Wasps come Sunday.

"The Wasps game is behind us now and we have to focus on next week," said de Kock. "People were asking us before the Ospreys game whether the game against Leeds was too easy in terms of preparations. This time around, we've had a much tougher test but we didn't get the win.

"There's a lot at stake but to have come this far in the competition and not grasp the opportunity in front of us would be a massive disappointment."
