Brian O'Driscoll will captain the Barbarians against South Africa in a side that will include Ireland teammate Paul O'Connell, when the sides meet at Twickenham on December 1st.
Adding to Irish interest, Eddie O'Sullivan will coach the Barbarians.
The Barbarians are lining up the cream of world rugby to play in the match.
Those invited include Jerry Collins and Sitiveni Sivivatu from New Zealand, Chris Latham, Matt Giteau and Rocky Elsom from Australia, and Juan Martin Hernandez and Mario Ledesmo from Argentina.
