Former Ireland wing Matt Mostyn will make his first start for Connacht since November 2006 when he lines out against Llanelli Scarlets in the Magner's League at the Sportsground tomorrow.
Mostyn is one of five personnel changes from the side that lost to Munster last weekend.
Centre Mel Deane has recovered from an arm injury to take his place alongside Daniel Riordan, meaning Aidan Wynne moves from inside centre to the left wing, in place of the injured Ofisa Treviranus (leg).
Colm Rigney replaces the injured John Muldoon at number eight and captain Andrew Farley is again included in the secondrow.
Coach Michael Bradley will also welcome the news that the knee ligament injury to Michael Swift is not as bad as first feared and the backrow is named on the bench.
