Mount Temple and St Benildus ignored the appalling underfoot conditions to produce an entertaining Leinster schools' section A senior cup second round tie at Donnybrook yesterday.

Mount Temple's two first half tries were taken very much from the training ground as Gareth Kelly and David Hancock went over. Mark Adams converting the latter. In between St Benildus out-half Michael Kelly kicked a 19th minute penalty. A further Mount Temple try by Keith Ellis was followed by a quick reposte by Tony O'Brien.
