It took Antrim eight minutes to open the scoring, a point from Eoin Quinn, and from then they tacked on score after score in this 24-point win against an atrocious London side at Casement Park.

Big centre half forward Paddy Logan, who had a fine game, soon added another point and Antrim led 1-9 to no score at half-time, the goal coming from Kevin Brady on 27 minutes.

London rallied briefly at the beginning of the second half, opening their account through a Stephen Lynch free, but they were swimming against the tide.

Points came easily to the home team, who used their full quota of substitutes such was their comfort zone.

Antrim never had to get out of second gear and added further goals from Eoin Quinn (58 minutes) and Owen Doherty (65 minutes).

They even had the luxury of a missed Frankie Wilson penalty, while goalkeeper David Feeley prevented goals on two other occasions.
