Limerick hurling manager Eamonn Cregan is concerned about the availability of four players for next Sunday's championship semi-final showdown against Waterford at Pairc Ui Chaoimh. TJ Ryan and Jack Foley both have ankle injuries, Brian Begley is nursing a hand injury while midfielder Mike O'Brien has a badly swollen face. All of the knocks were picked up in Limerick's unexpected first round win over Cork. Cregan admitted that all his players were physically drained after that hectic battle and is concerned that a two-week break will not provide sufficient recovery time.

The four injured players missed out on training last week and the likelihood is that the team to play Waterford will not be chosen until Wednesday evening.
