SIX NATIONS: SCOTLAND:Scotland have made two enforced changes for Sunday's clash with Wales in Cardiff, with outhalf Greig Laidlaw set to make his first Test start.
Laidlaw is poised to win his fourth cap in place of Dan Parks, who on Tuesday announced his retirement . Edinburgh prop Geoff Cross has been recalled in place of Newcastle tighthead Euan Murray, who does not play on Sundays for religious reasons. Uncapped Glasgow Warriors trio Ed Kalman, Duncan Weir and Stuart Hogg are on the replacements’ bench.
Coach Andy Robinson has retained Chris Cusiter at scrumhalf, with Mike Blair on the bench.
ITALY: Coach Jacques Brunel has made two changes to the side that lost to France for the game against England on Saturday.
Aironi lock Marco Bortolami will earn his 90th cap as he replaces Benetton Treviso’s Cornelius Van Zyl at number five. Bortolami will partner club team-mate Quintin Geldenhuys, while Clermont centre Gonzalo Canale will start in place of Alberto Sgarbi.
Treviso’s Antonio Pavanello could make his Six Nations debut while 20-year-old centre Luca Morisi has a chance to earn his cap.
Also, veteran flanker Mauro Bergamasco has also been included in the 22-man squad.
