THE IRELAND Schools team swept to yet another overwhelming win at Connolly Park in Wagga Wagga on Saturday to register their eighth successive tour victory.

They now face Australia Schools in a Test match at Canberra next Wednesday in their final game.

Having opened the scoring after 10 minutes with a penalty goal from out-half, Bryn Cunningham, the tourists went on to run in eight tries. Scrumhalf Peter Stringer scored two, and Robert Casey, Cunningham, Rory Collins, John Fogarty, Leo Cullen and John Campbell had a try each.

Cunningham kicked two conversions and also added two penalty, goals. And replacement out-half Brian O'Mahony landed another two conversions.

Ireland led by 30-0 at the interval.
