Retief Goosen extended his lead to five shots after the third round of the Asian Tour's Volkswagen Masters-China.
The former US Open champion carded a five-under-par 67 for a 20-under-par total of 206 at Yalong Bay Golf Club.
Goosen struggled to the turn in 36 after two bogeys and two birdies but stormed home in 31 with three birdies and an eagle in his last six holes.
The South African's nearest challenger is Taiwan's Wen-teh Lu who returned a 69 to finish 15 under, one ahead of New Zealand's Michael Campbell (70).
Scotland's Simon Dunn is a shot further back after a 66, with England's Yasin Ali on 12 under following a 69.
