JANE DIGBY and Allatrim, separated by three parts of a length in a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan earlier this month, are declared for different races at the popular midland track this evening.

Jane Digby faces some formidable opposition in the Pat Doyle Memorial Handicap Hurdle over the same distance and Allatrim will have the assistance of Richard Dunwoody in the Tullamore Mares Maiden Hurdle.

Father Rector has incurred a 6lb penalty in the handicap hurdle. He won at Tramore and prior to that was a surprise winner of the featured Dawn Milk Handicap Hurdle from the penalised Vicar Street, who had won his maiden hurdle over the course a few days previously.

The top weight, Arctic Kate, finished a long way behind Father Rector at Galway but had won handicap hurdles at Bellewstown and Dundalk. Father Rector jumps well and will be difficult to beat.

Regal Grove, who heat Father Rector a couple of lengths in a handicap hurdle at Wexford can open her account over fences in the Cleabov Stud Handicap Chase, possibly at the expense of Merry People and The Outback Way.

Allatrim had Garland Rose several lengths behind when runner up here and may finally break her duck in the maiden hurdle.

Richard Dunwoody also rides Coshla Express for Tony Martin in the Hackett Bookmakers Beginners Chase. Although beaten six lengths by Very Little over this course last time out the winner subsequently won well at Roscommon.

Kentucky Baby has disappointed over hurdles since running Da Silva to a neck in a QR handicap at Gowran but might do well over fences. Cuban Question, who ran the subsequent Tramore winner Beakstown to a neck in a similar chase at Galway, looks the pick.
