BOXING: Unbeaten Irish middleweight John Duddy's clash with Luis "Yory Boy" Campas has been upgraded to a world title fight.

They are scheduled to meet at Madison Square Garden on September 29th, with an IBA world middleweight crown up for grabs.

Derry native Duddy (26) had been due to put his IBA Americas title on the line against veteran Mexican puncher. But according to his promoter, Eddie McLoughlin, the Ulsterman will surrender that belt to focus on his tilt at a world title.

Duddy, who fights out of the Irish Ropes in New York, has racked up 17 victories so far.
