Dublin and Armagh have both delayed their team selection for Sunday's National Football League semi-final replay until later in the week. Doubtful starters are Dublin's Ian Robertson and Cathal O'Rourke of Armagh.

It now seems clear, however, that the players which started in last Sunday's draw are all available, although Dublin may decide to start Jason Sherlock and Armagh may be tempted to call on Peter Loughran.

Dublin retain hopes that Ian Robertson, who missed out in the drawn match, may be fit, but the selectors may retain Thomas Lynch on the left wing of the half back line with Paul Curran at centre half rather than risk Robertson.

In Armagh hopes are high that Cathal O'Rourke may have made sufficient progress to resume his place in the side. He injured himself in the quarter-final against Sligo in Longford and has been having treatment since on his ankle. His return to the side would greatly help Armagh's ambition to get into the final against Cork.

The good news for Armagh, however, is that Diarmuid Marsden came through unscathed in the drawn match and is certain to take his place. Marsden made a highly significant contribution to Armagh's performance last Sunday. Oisin McConville is also reported to be fully fit to start.

Meanwhile, Seamus Hayden, the Connacht team manager for the Railway Cup final clash with Munster in Tuam on Sunday, has named James Nallen and Pat Fallon, both of Mayo, in his team. Both were nursing injuries during the week, but reported fit yesterday. Nallen plays at centre half back with Fallon joining Sean O Domhnaill in midfield.
