In a dramatic finish, Leinster stopped Ulster's bid for four consecutive Interprovincial titles at Waterford Golf Club yesterday when Simon Gorry won on the last green against Robin Symes to give Leinster their first title since 1995.

Leinster needed to win by two points, and they laid the foundation for victory when taking two-and-a-half points from the foursomes.

Leinster girls also won the Interprovincial title when whitewashing Connacht in Cork.
