Course in bonding

Perhaps bonding on the golf course was the secret of success for Shamrock Rovers's six-in-a-row FAI Cup-winning side in the 1960s. Five players who featured in those teams will play for the soccer selection in the Internationals outing at Elm Park on May 28th. Liam Tuohy, Ronnie Nolan, Shay Keogh, Tommy Hamilton and Paddy Ambrose are the men in question, and other former players Con Martin, Tommy Eglinton, Ray Treacy and Paddy Turner make up the bulk of the team. They take on cricket, hockey and rugby selections.
