Cork seek hat-trick

Intertoto Cup:  Cork City will bid to complete a Swedish hat-trick this afternoon (kick-off 3.0) when they face Hammarby in the second leg of their Intertoto Cup second-round tie in Stockholm.

Damien Richardson's charges have twice dumped opponents from Sweden out of Europe in the past four years.

Under previous manager Pat Dolan, City beat Malmo in the 2003 Intertoto Cup campaign and they dumped Djurgardens out of the Uefa Cup the following year.

The 1-1 scoreline from last week's first leg puts Hammarby in the driving seat at the Rasunda Stadium.

Darragh Ryan returns from his abdominal muscle injury but Brian O'Callaghan (groin) remains out while Joe Gamble (back) and Liam Kearney (hamstring) are doubts.
