Golf:KJ Choi had a two-shot lead midway through the second round of the Tour Championship in Atlanta after he shot a five-under-par 65 to move to seven under at East Lake.
Out on the course, Jason Day birdied the 15th and 16th to catch the Korean, while fellow Australian Adam Scott, England’s Luke Donald and Keegan Bradley were all on six under going down the back nine.
Bubba Watson stormed up the leaderboard on the back of a 64 that included seven birdies and a bogey to move to five under and was joined by fellow American Bill Haas, who shot a 67.
Sweden’s Fredrik Jacobson (67), American Brandt Snedeker (69) and Australia’s Geoff Ogilvy (68) were two shots further back on three under.
Justin Rose fell back to a share of last place in the 30-man field after a 75 pushed him out to four over.
