Inspirational Manchester United star Eric Cantona yesterday hit out at French soccer officials after his omission from his country's Euro `96 squad.

Reflecting on the infamous assault on a spectator which earned him a world wide ban, Cantona told French magazine Paris Match "I think a lot of officials though I was dead after that Since I was not completely dead, and since I even resurrected, they have done everything they could to make sure I died a second time," he added before warning "We'll see who dies in the end."
