Dundalk will be desperate for a repeat of their best win of the season when they re-acquaint themselves with Bohemians tonight. Beating the champions 3-1 at Oriel Park in September appeared to signal Dundalk's return to the top flight would be a relatively trouble-free reunion. But only two wins in the 10 games since have failed to strengthen that notion.

As a result, five players - Martin Reilly, David Ward, Liam Dunne, Stuart Connolly and John Ryan - were placed on the transfer list this week.

"The players, particularly our front lads, haven't been doing what's required of them," said manager Martin Murray. "We haven't been scoring goals and if you don't score goals how can you expect to win games?"

Murray has ex-Bohemians defender Donal Broughan back from suspension while Alex Nesovic, who left Dalymount in the summer, meets his former team-mates in his second match for his new club.

With only one win in 11 games, injuries continue to wreck Bohemians' season. Manager Pete Mahon hopes to complete the signing of Colin Hawkins from Doncaster Rovers on Monday to ease his defensive deficiency. For the moment, Mahon waits on defenders Dave Hill (foot) and Anthony Shevlin (knee). Brian Shelly, Avery John, Simon Webb and Mark Rutherford remain sidelined.
