Bohemians secured a hard-earned 2-1 victory over Longford Town on Saturday at Flancare Park.
Scoring opportunities were at a premium. However, after a rather dull first half, the game quickly picked up after the break.
Bohemians took the lead three minutes into the second half. Anthony Buttimer awarded a penalty after spotting a Longford handball. Glen Crowe stepped up to put the visitors ahead.
Longford were back on terms nine minutes later. Ger Robinson pounced to level matters.
Longford then had Vinny Perth sent off in the 78th minute, and, just six minutes later, Dave Morrison claimed the winner.
