RACING:FRAN BERRY returns to action at Dundalk tonight following four months on the sidelines with a broken ankle.

Berry (31) suffered the injury while riding in Japan last November, and has been steadily working his way back to full fitness with the aid of the mechanical horse at the Race apprentice centre as well as riding out over the past few weeks.

He partners Fairy Wing for his main retained stable of Jessica Harrington in the seven-furlong-rated race (6.50), and also the Val Ward-trained Regal Tramp in the 47-65-rated mile-and-a-half handicap (8.50) on the Irish News-sponsored card.
