Sir, – Dave Slater (Letters, February 24th) bemoans the fact that Maureen Dowd still writes about Donald Trump, saying she "needs to follow the example of her obsession and move on". If anyone thinks the Orange Ogre of Maro Lago has "moved on", they are sadly mistaken. He is merely biding his time, stewing in perceived injustices and wounded pride while he plans how to control the mid-term elections in 2022 and, worse again, the main event of 2024. – Yours, etc,
