Sir, - I have just returned from London and a visit to the Theatre
Museum at Covent Garden, which is a great success. Apart from exhibits it includes a shop, licensed cafe, research library, archive and a box office for theatre tickets.
Considering the wealth of our theatrical tradition, we urgently need a theatre museum in which to cherish memories and legends of
Ireland's extraordinary heritage.
