Madam, – Recent Dáil discussions have highlighted a glaring inequality in that institution. As far as I can gather, teaching is the only profession where a position is held for someone while they pursue a a political career. This probably explains the large number of teachers among our TDs.
Surely the Equality Authority should be addressing this glaring anomaly. Could this help to explain our present mess? I mean, what do teachers know about running a business, let alone a country? – Yours, etc,
