Madam, - It would seem that Prof William Reville (January 4th) is not aware that the "five ways" of Aquinas have each long since been shown to be fallacious (cf. Anthony Kenny, The Five Ways, OUP), as has Anselm's argument, refuted by (among others) Aquinas, Kant, Hume and (especially because most clearly) Frege and Russell.

In fact, religion, especially organised religion, and the sciences have nothing to do with each other. It is absurd to invoke science to support religious statements. - Yours, etc,
