Sir, - Not before time, Limerick has been officially recognised as the rugby capital of Ireland. Seven members of the team selected to represent Ireland against Scotland on Saturday play for Limerick teams - one for Garryowen, two for Young Munster and for Shannon. This, surely, has to be a record that both Limerick and Shannon, in particular, can be rightly proud of.
In view of this, would it not be entirely appropriate for the fans to sing There is an Isle instead of Ireland's Call before the match? - Yours, etc., Mgr Liam Boyle,
The Presbytery, Newcastle West, Co Limerick.
