Madam, - On February 20th, I was privileged to attend a small commemoration of Henry Harrison at his grave in Holywood, Co Down. That date was the 53rd anniversary of his death. Tributes were paid by local historians, the Rev J. McConnell Auld and Dr Éamon Phoenix.
Harrison had many claims to fame, chiefly as being the last survivor of the Parnellite MPs.
My friends and I hope to make this commemoration an annual event. I would be particularly interested to know whether any of Harrison's relatives still survive. - Yours, etc,
