Sir, - I congratulate the people of Ireland, North and South, on the result of the referendums on Northern Ireland.
It would be great if they could take time out to celebrate this people's victory for peace, but, unfortunately, there is no time for parties or euphoria, particularly in Northern Ireland. Politicians and people must keep their shoulders to the wheel of peace to ensure that the process, now gloriously started, continues to roll through the Assembly elections to the logical conclusion - harmony on the island of Ireland.
