Sir, - I am very concerned at Dublin Corporation's proposal to limit the right of demonstration in O'Connell Street. It appears to be a flagrant violation of Article 40 of the Constitution.
While we all may regret the inconvenience and disruption which protests sometimes cause, this is a small part of the price we pay for living in a free society in which the rights of assembly and free speech are guaranteed. - Yours, etc.,
