Madam, – If we’re going to re-set the minimum wage, then we must set a maximum wage. If we really are in a crisis, then all public servants’ salaries must be capped at €150,000 – including the Taoiseach’s. If they implement this, then we will take them seriously.
Obviously, there are some exceptionally talented people for whom this will not suit; they can take a free transfer to the private sector.
