Sir, I wish to refer to the article, "Palestinian authority official condemns Israeli plan to demolish 500 illegal homes" by Michael Jansen (May 19th) and to state that there is no truth in the report.
Israeli's defence authorities have no plans of this nature. A clear statement on this matter was issued by the Israel Defence Ministry's media co-ordinator.
