Sir, – Thank you Matthew Elderfield for thinking of the variable mortgage rate holders (Breaking News, October 14th) and speaking out to the banks on our behalf.
We can take some comfort in the knowledge that our rates won’t change for the foreseeable future. Or if they do that the banks too will be penalised and not just the mortgage holder!
