Do bus users have rights?

Sir, - I commute regularly to Jobstown, Tallaght, on the 77 bus and to Crumlin on the 150 bus and use other services daily. The 77 and 150 routes are advertised as coming every 10 minutes. I have waited at off-peak times for up to 45 minutes for a 77 and have seen five buses travelling in convoy either to or from Tallaght. I have waited 30 minutes at Jobstown terminus at night and seen buses arrive, then switch their lights off and take no passengers heading back to town.

I have given up waiting on a 150 bus as it is now a joke among the frustrated commuters.

Where do commuters go to complain about of this treatment? I have spoken to drivers, but this was not helpful. I have spoken to supervisors and was not listened to but was responded to with hostility. I have written to Dublin Bus a few times, but the service continues to deteriorate.

The 77 buses to Jobstown are dirty; the windows are covered in mud so you cannot see where you are. The bus shelters at the Square and at Jobstown are a disgrace.
