Madam, - I agree with E.J. Cooper (August 21st) that members of the Royal Dublin Society should make their feelings known if we are not happy with the direction the society is taking.
I am not happy with the emphasis being placed on commercial success to the detriment of the values of the Society and its members. Commercial success of the RDS is there to serve the membership and should not be its goal. - Yours, etc.,
