Madam, - I am greatly impressed by Prof William Reville's contribution on the thorny subject of stem-cell research and the ethical dilemmas involved (Science Today, January 8th).
His article is a model of clarity. It is also very courageous. I commend him for it and I would urge that it be read by everyone on both sides of the debate, and especially by those who are confused by the issue. - Yours, etc.,
