Sir, – While I appreciate the damage that al-Qaeda has wrought to the United States and its interests, what might happen if some “suspected militants” were located in Ireland and eliminated with a drone? The incidental deaths and maiming of bystanders would be not unusual. Worse still, it might even be some dreadful mistake.
