Madam, – ECB president Jean-Claude Trichet has indicated that he is opposed to any restructuring of debt by Ireland, stating that the terms of the EU/IMF bailout have been approved by “the entire world” (Finance, February 8th).
As I am one of the people who will be paying for this for many years to come, could Mr Trichet or anyone else remind me when I and my fellow citizens approved this deal? – Yours
