Sir, – Colm Hogan points out that the last Saturday in Lent is Holy Saturday rather than the incorrectly used Easter Saturday (Letters, February 15th).
In the spirit of correcting matters Lenten, dare I suggest that the world would be a better place if people were to forego their excesses for the rest of the year and merely indulged in them during the 40 days of Lent. – Yours, etc,
