Sir, – Ian D’Alton’s reference to the difficulty of remembering British number plates is not always true (Letters, September 17th). I recently drove behind a white SUV with British plates. The plate was hard to forget. It read “A Go T Fek”. I kept my distance! – Yours, etc,
