Grappling with technology

Sir, – Considering my advanced years, I thought I was doing all right with my mobile phone texts, emails, etc.

However, during a visit from my daughter I received a text from a friend beneath which I read “last seen at 1.20″.

I asked my daughter who saw him. (Shades of Big Brother?)

Trying to conceal her amusement, she explained what it meant, leaving me wondering if I should give up trying to understand modern technology or persist with my efforts. – Yours, etc,
