Sir, – Ian Woods (Letters, September 12th) might care to join another losing language battle in persuading most contributors to The Irish Times to resist the urge to include the word “journey” in nearly every article.
It’s just about tolerable when referring to physical travel, but everyone now seems to be on some sort of “inner journey” or inclined to describe all change as a “journey”. – Yours, etc,
