An article in last Monday’s edition headed “Bill promotes use of cheaper generic drugs by doctors”, stated that the Irish Medicines Board “will also be responsible for setting a common reimbursement price for groups of medicines.” In fact, the HSE will be responsible for pricing decisions.

An article in last Saturday’s edition, concerning disturbances at a Phoenix Park concert, quoted a St John Ambulance worker saying that bottles were thrown into the air or smashed over people’s heads. The St John Ambulance service has pointed out that it was not contracted to attend any of the Phoenix Park concerts that weekend.
