An article in yesterday’s edition, concerning the Culture Night 2010 activities, stated that it will take place on Wednesday, September 24th. September 24th is on a Friday.

Teagasc research on eating habits, which was reported on in yesterday’s edition, was written by Pamela Murphy.

An article in last Wednesday’s edition, concerning a National Economic and Social Council report on the euro, stated that the council favours a greater sharing of information between EU members as part of an economic government for Europe. In fact, the report notes that economic government is one of a number of “more ambitious proposals for how EMU should be governed”. The report points out that such a proposal is “more likely to polarise debate on reform than assist in making ideas compatible”.
