In the editions of November 28th, a report of a hearing in Galway Circuit Court referred to a suicide note being left by Mr Damian Garrett prior to his death in a car crash. In fact, no reference was made to a suicide note. The error is greatly regretted.
In the editions of December 4th, Fintan O'Toole referred to Barnardos in the context of the child migration scheme to Australia.
Barnardos Ireland has never placed children abroad.
