A letter published in last Saturday’s edition, concerning the resignation of Gerry McCaughey as chairman of the Dublin Docklands Development Authority, purported to come from David Colhoun of Greystones, Co Wicklow. Mr Colhoun was not the author of the letter. We apologise for any distress caused.

In the 150th Anniversary magazine with last Friday’s edition, a photograph on page 77 was incorrectly identified as being of Myles na Gopaleen.

In fact it was of the poet Robert Farren (1909-1984) who also wrote in Irish as Roibeárd Ó Faracháin.
