Richard Wright has agreed to join Everton in a Stg£4.5 million switch from Arsenal today.
The 24-year-old was a £6 million signing from Ipswich at the start of last season, but failed to oust England number one David Season from the first team at Highbury.
In the process, Wright lost his place in the England squad and missed out on the World Cup in Japan and Korea this summer.
His arrival at Goodison ends manager David Moyes' hunt for a keeper after he failed to land Mart Poom from Derby and Turkey international Rustu Recber.
Wright agreed personal terms and passed a medical yesterday and is set to put pen to paper tomorrow morning. He is expected to take a significant pay-cut, with some reports suggesting in may be as much as £250,000 a year, in his bid to secure first team football.
Arsenal, meanwhile, continue to be linked with a loan move for Juventus custodian Fabian Carini.
