A woman in her late twenties has died following a collision in County Westmeath this morning. The accident happened at 11.35 a.m. near Macetown, Mullingar, on the Delvin to Mullingar road.
A car and lorry were involved. The female driver of the car received fatal injuries. Her body was taken to Mullingar General Hospital. The driver of the lorry did not receive injuries. Gardaí at Mullingar are investigating the accident.
