An elderly woman has died in a fire in West Belfast. The fire happened at a house on Waterville Street off the Falls Road at shortly after 6am.
Neighbours were beaten back by the flames after they attempted to enter the house.
The emergency services were called and the fire service arrived within minutes.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
