A woman is in a critical condition in a Belfast hospital after falling from a horse at a trial event in Co Armagh yesterday afternoon.
Kildare-based Eventing rider Jane O'Flynn was seriously injured during a one-day fvent at Richhill close to Armagh City.
She was airlifted by a British Army helicopter to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast where she is responding well to treatment, according to doctors.
She is one of Ireland's European championship hopefuls, sustained the injuries in a fall from a horse during the competition.
